This year CLA will host a Writer-in-Residence who works one-on-one with community members and SJSU students across genres. This program provides meaningful mentorship and connections for all participants.
The Center for Literary Arts Craft Lecture Series brings distinguished writers to SJSU for original talks on craft.
Submit-a-Thon

All are welcomed to put those envelopes together (electronic and post) while fraternizing and Q&A-ing with fellow writers. We'll talk about what makes a successful query letter, working with editors, and finding home for your best work.
